Make a Difference Have you ever wanted to help or volunteer your time to make a significant difference in someone’s life but didn’t know where to begin? At HEP there are so many ways you can help. Our work is made possible by people like you, people who lend a helping hand. Activities include: Children’s Tutors, Mentors & Counselors, Dentists, Office Assistants, Thrift Store & Donation Pick up Assistants. For information contact (727) 442-9041. Volunteer Opportunities Our Office Volunteers cover a wide variety of tasks for us. We depend on their faithful service to provide the services our Clients need. The Kitchen Staff and volunteers are responsible for serving three meals a day, seven days a week. We have full nutritional meals that taste great! HEP Thrift Store This shop provides operating income for HEP and provides our residents with much needed clothing and household items, thanks to in-kind donations and the hard work of staff and volunteers. Tampa Bay Harvest Volunteers pick up surplus foods from area grocery stores, restaurants and hospitals and deliver it to our kitchens for use in providing meals to our Clients. Free Dental Clinic We have 15 area Dentists who continually provide dental care to the homeless through our Free Dental Clinic. |
